Capt. George reported some very good fishing close to home along the sandy southern Rhode Island shoreline this morning. The fluke were aggressive and cooperative with the Cody Akin group getting a fine mess of keepers, more than half of which were of the jumbo variety in the 5-6lb range. Plenty of shorts in between to keep things interesting and a few good size sea robins to boot. Rental rod rigs were the way to go this morning. Young fisherman Mike from New Mexico had one of the biggest fluke of the trip with a fine slab over 5lbs. The Capt. Frances still has plenty of openings for charters this upcoming season and is the perfect sailing vessel for groups of 8 to 25 people. If interested call the office and speak to Tammy or Roger for further booking details.
