GOOD START TO THE HALF DAY SEASON THIS MORNING, SAUTRDAY JUNE 18TH

Capt. Mike reported a very pleasant morning of half day fishing along the beach. A nice turnout of half day anglers as well. A good number of keepers and plenty of shorts to keep things rolling right along. Peter Tu was hi hook for the day with a brace of nice keepers including the pool winning fish just under 5lbs. The keepers were very spread out amongst the anglers with rental rods actually doing better overall for size than those using the bucktails. Customers threw back plenty of slammer out of season sea bass to almost six pounds!! When I tell you that we cannot wait until July 11th, I mean it! Some sea robins as well. Capt. Mike looks forward to the next half day outing leaving the dock at 1pm today on the Lady Frances.
