Capt. Mike reported both half day trips found some good fishing very close to home. Anthony Mecurio who went back to back trips with his son Anthony Jr.had a great day each both getting jumbo fluke on each trip. Anthony Jr. had a brace of jumbos that went 6 and 5.5 lbs respectively. The tandem style bait rig and or rental rod set ups were def. the way to go inshore on the beach today. Next set of half day fishing trips will be tomorrow with the 8am to Noon and the 1pm to 5pm setting sail on the Lady Frances with Capt. Mike.
Capt. Rich reported a great turnout of fluke anglers to celebrate the Father’s Day Holiday today and good fishing to go along with it. Nearly 100 keepers hit the decks today with a good many fish in the four to six pound range with several fish in the 8lb range to battle it out for the pool. While there were no confirmed limits, a good number of the anglers aboard had five and six fish apiece. Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
