Capt. Rich reported another very strong day with the fluke. Between 80 and 90 keepers, many of them jumbos went into anglers bags and coolers today with Tom Farone from Wallingford CT taking today’s pool with a remarkable 10.5lb slab. Tom also had three other keepers including a 6 lbr as well. Many of the anglers aboard had four to six keepers apiece but there was no certain word of whether or not anyone limited out. For those keeping track we are now closing in on the double digit number mark for double digit weight fluke and its only mid June!! Not bed eh? Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
Capt. Mike reported an okay morning trip with some nice keepers and a nice turnout of anglers but the PM half was very slow due to no drift for a very light crowd. Next brace of half day trips are slated for tomorrow 8am to Noon and 1pm to 5pm.
