Capt. Mike reported a good day of fishing along the beach. Anglers enjoyed a great mixed bag of the summer bounty that included a nice bunch of good size fluke to 5lbs, a big mess of good size sea bass up to nearly 5lbs and some hubcap size scup. Hi hook on the fluke had 3 keepers apiece and many anglers had upwards to a half dozen jumbo sea bass apiece or even a little better. Both the fluke and the sea bass were rather spread out and all terminal gear seemed to be effective. Next 8am full day boat will set sail on this coming Monday the 18th.
Capt. Keith reported the bite was on the slower side for the morning half day today but anglers nevertheless had a nice mix of sea bass and keeper fluke with a sea bass of nearly 5lbs besting a fluke over 4lbs.
