Capt. Chris reported a great evening half day of fishing yesterday aboard the Admiral Frances. Minho and Kaylee from CT combined for six keepers up to 6lbs while Jum Gingras and daughter Madeline who had three keepers up to 8lbs and the pool honors! A lot of quality fluke and a handsome handful of good size sea bass plus quite a few shorts rounded out the night’s activity.
First mate Nicky reported that the Striper trip last night was poor. What little tide they had in the beginning of the night died quickly and never recovered. Very few bass and a couple of blue fish and a handful of dog fish was it for the entire night. Capt. Ray and Nicky think tonight’s tide will be more conducive to Striper fishing. Pool fish was a nice bass around 25lbs. The fishing has been extraordinary overall so far this season so a couple of off nights cannot be unexpected and this is fishing afterall! We look forward to improvements and Capt. Ray will try again tonight with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7pm. Still plenty of room on tonight’s trip so if interested please call the office to book.
