Capt. Rich reported a good day on the 7am full day boat with plenty of nice fluke and lots of good size sea bass. The pool was taken with an 8lb slab but two other even bigger fluke, biggest 10lbs were not in the pool. It pays to play my friends! Hi hook would have had a full limit but a blue fish bit the nice fluke in half before the fish could find the safety of the net. Needless to say there were a good number of anglers who had several fish apiece to take home of each speice. Some blues and a few good size scup rounded out the day’s catch. Next 7am full day sets sail aboard the Gal Frances tomorrow morning.
Capt. Mike reported good fishing on the 8am full day boat with a nice mess of keeper fluke to six pounds and a nice helping of nice size sea bass. Hi hook took home a full limit of keepers for the day and just about everyone went home with fresh fluke for dinner. Mike T from Narragansett, a longtime regular customer and awesome fluke fisherman was the fellow who easily limited out on nice fluke including several jumbo fish.
The half day reports were very good as well today with the morning trip putting an outstanding number of keepers in the boat with sizes to 8lbs plus a bunch of good size sea bass while the mid afternoon fluke trip also had an excellent number of fluke to nearly 7lbs and a good amount of nice size sea bass. plenty of shorts mixed in on both half day trips to keep things moving right along and keeping the anglers busy and attentive to their rods at the rail. Hi hook on the mid afternoon half day took home 4 nice keepers. Tomorrow we revert back to two half days with the 8am and the 4pm trips.
