First of all the morning half day report for yesterday certainly deserves a mention as there was reported to be an excellent haul of keeper fluke and quite a few nice sea bass. One young lady with rental rod who had never been deep sea fishing before had three fluke in the six to seven pound range, all three fish the would be pool winners had she been in the pool!! Two half days on tap today with the first leaving at 8am and the next leaving at 4pm.
Capt. Chris reported the night combo trip last night was more of a fluke and squid trip with flat calm seas allowing us to drift all night long along the south shore beaches. A slow but steady pick of nice fluke to 5lbs for those fishing with fluke rigs and a slow but steady pick of good size squid for those who were squidding. A couple anglers had three and four nice fluke apiece to take home. Anglers also had a handful of nice size sea bass and a bunch of cocktail size blue fish. All in all a good trip. Be prepared for a little of everything on the night combo runs with the next night combo set to sail this evening at 7pm on the Gail Frances with Capt. Chris.
Capt. Ray reported a tough night of Striper fishing last night. Capt. Ray will be ready to try again tonight with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7pm. Still plenty of room so if interested in going please call the office to book.
