Capt. Chris reported awesome weather and a nice turnout of anglers on last night’s combo trip but the fishing was very very slow. A fair number of short fluke along with a handful of keeper fluke and keeper sea bass but overall things were very quiet. There was quite a bit of squid showing but they were next to impossible to catch on the jigs. Next week combo sails Friday and Saturday Night at 7pm by reservation.
Capt. Ray reported slow Striper fishing last night. No tide and not much drift and not much bite. A handful of Stripers to maybe 15lbs along with a few shorts and a couple blue fish and thats it. Tough tough week for Striper fishing but hey its been a great summer overall. Tonight’s Striper trip is cancelled due to the weather expected. Next Striper trip is set to sail Wednesday evening at 7pm with Capt. Ray on the Lady Frances.
Remember folks that Monday through Wednesday we offer three separate half day fluke trips. They sail at 8am 1pm and 4pm respectively. For anyone who would like to do back to back trips there is a ten dollar discount on the second one. Also there is no 8am full day boat Monday and Tuesday this week but the 8am full day will resume on Wednesday with Capt. Mike on the Admiral Frances. The 7am full day schedule remains unchanged sailing every day at 7am.
