7-4 Full Day:
Captain Richie reported a phenomenal day of fishing aboard the Gail Frances today! The boat returned early after catching the boat’s limit of fluke. Jeff Stairs from CT had caught his limit by 11:30am, and gave away 6 nice-sized fluke by the end of the day. While no records were broken in the size department, the sheer quantity of fish was truly astounding. The pool was a 3-way tie of fish in the 6-7lb range.
The Gail Frances will be sailing again at 7am tomorrow, which, according to the forecast, should be a beautiful day!
1-5 Half Day:
Good fishing on the mid-day Half Day, according to Captain Chris. Anglers were busy with numerous short fluke for an action-packed several hours. The pool fish was a respectable fluke weighing around 6.5 lbs. Despite the fast drift, a few nice seabass found their way on deck, too. The 1-5 will sail again Tuesday and Wednesday!
