Capt. Ray and first mate Derrek were pleased to report that the Striper fishing was excellent last night. Looks like Irene shook the Stripers onto the feed bag. Too bad only a handful of anglers were able to enjoy the great weather and excellent fishing. Biggest fish was around 30lbs and there were several others in the 20’s. In fact most were over 15lbs so pretty much all quality fish. There were a number of limits and there probably shouldve been more but unfortunately some Stripers were victorious in the man vs beast battle. Some hefty blue fish mixed in as well. Capt. Ray looks forward to another great night of weather tonight and more good fishing with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7pm, plenty of openings tonight and right through the Holiday Weekend so please call the office to make a reservation. Remember this is the last week we are sailing during the week for Stripers, trips are planned Thursday through Sunday Night. Starting NEXT WEEK we will sail only on Saturday Nights for Stripers.
