Courtesy of Capt. Mike several pics from the CDWLRT trip have been posted along with a couple of trips from a recent Tuna outing. Capt. Mike also had the following to report from the CDWLRT trip: There were a tremendous amount of Tuna up on top during the trip but they just were not interested in the baits/lures. They did have about fifteen or so mixed big Yellows and Albies plus they released several pup Swords and one White Marlin around 70lbs. They did manage a few Mahi as well. While there was the big sucess of the 350lb Bigeye there were also two other big fish, one a Sword fought for over two hours before the hook pulled and another a Bigeye that they fought for an hour and a half before the line parted the same night. So that one night several hours were spent fighting a singular fish. Capt. Mike hopes the weather holds and that we are able to get back out there at least once or twice more before the curtain finally comes down on the Tuna season of 2011.
