Capt. Mike reported a nice day of togging yesterday with plenty of good size blackfish up to ten pounds along with a few nice green cod fish. There were at least a few limit catches and a number of other anglers who were very close. Plenty of shorts as well to keep things rolling right along. Capt. Mike is out again today so look for a fresh report a bit later on!
Capt. Rich is out today as well with a nice group of enthusiastic cod and sea bass anglers taking advantage of some vintage Indian Summer weather. Now is the time to stock up on the sea bass on the local cod trips as the numbers have been quite good with many limit and near limit catches recorded on the past several outings. Quite a few good size cod as well with pool fish the last few trips in the 25 to 32lb range. A fresh cod report will be available a bit later on as well.
