Capt. Mike was jubilant to report that the local togging today was just fine. The weather was not quite as severe as predicted plus we fished some more protected waters and not only did we catch everywhere we went but the results were downright good!! There were nearly a half dozen limits and a decent number of other anglers were not far behind! Pool fish was fought between a pair of chinners in the 8lb range and there were a good number of nice tog in the six and seven pound range as well. Quite a few shorts in the mix as well to keep anglers busy. Two fine keeper cod joined the party as did one nice size ling. A few short sea bass and one short cod and some tiny ocean perch and that was it for the day Capt. Mike looks forward to another good day on the water tomorrow with the Lady Frances set to sail at 6am for tatoug. A couple of pics are posted courtesy of Roger above today’s fishing report.
We are excited to be headed out to the cod and sea bass grounds tomorrow with Capt. Rich aboard the Gail Frances leaving at 7am. The weather sounds MUCH BETTER than the past few days and we know there are lots of sea bass and nice cod in the area and look forward to getting a good crack at them tomorrow.
