Capt. Rich reported a great day of weather and another bang up day of sea bass fishing with a few handfuls of market cod mixed in. Limits of good size sea bass were easily attained all around the boat with most anglers culling the larger keepers only. Quite a few in the 2 to 3lb range with the best around or just over 4lbs. Best cod iced today was perhaps threatening ten pounds. Screaming tide today made for some tough conditions but those who had stout rods and enough weight and one hook with a smaller piece of bait by far fared the best. Some big scup to 2.5lbs mixed in as well. Some ocean perch and a few more small blue fish, one keeper pollock, and a bunch of little cod that were thrown back made up the rest of the day’s activity. Some sea bass were jigged up again today by those who tried. All in all a great day of fishing and Capt. Rich looks forward to tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am for cod/sea bass and the Lady Frances will be set to sail at 6am for tatoug. No pics today, Roger felt since the viewers have all seen tons of sea bass pics over the past few weeks there was no need to show the viewers the same old thing, at least for a day anyway!
