Capt. Mike reported a very good day of local cod fishing with just about everyone going home with fish today and most anglers bagging three or four nice green market cod apiece with a few anglers doing a bit better with upwards to 7 or 8 nice cod apiece to take home. It was 100pct bait today with NO ONE even trying the metal. Chris Pagliaro from Hartford CT took today’s pool with a fine green cod just under 15lbs, one of six nice fish in his cod collection today. Despite the blustery conditions, the pick of cod was solid and much better than the past two outings. Looks like a scratch for tomorrow but the weather looks downright nice for Tuesday and Wednesday as of this writing. Capt. Mike looks forward to getting back out after the cod ASAP, as the winter run is beginning to take shape. Pics today are provided courtesy of Capt. Mike.
