Wednesday March 7th 2012 Afternoon Update/ No Cod trip Thursday March 8th!!

Capt. Mike reported another tough day on the local cod grounds today despite great showings on the recorder. Just a very few cod, a handful of red hake, a few handfuls of ding dings (ocean pout) and that was it. While it was warm out today, it was somewhat sporty and by tomorrow it will be much more so and therefore we will be staying tied to the dock. As for Friday, a decision will be made later tomorrow with the afternoon weather forecast. Things look great weather wise for this upcoming weekend however.
