The report from the first squid trip of the year last night was of slow fishing. A few handfuls of squid caught but not what had been hoped for mainly due to very tough weather conditions that were far worse than what was forecast. Tonight sounds much tamer and therefore we try again however there were plenty of squid marking on the sounder. So if you want to go tonight there is plenty of room so give a call and make a reservation. The Lady Frances will set sail at 7pm. The office will be open for check ins prior.
We will be set to sail for Cod and Hake tomorrow morning at 6am as the weather sounds good. Again please call the office to give us your name and phone number if planning to attend Sunday’s day trip.
Also of note to our customers is that starting this coming week some trips will be able to be booked online. The trips that will be able to be booked online will be Night Squid and Night Striper trips, Whale Watching and Half Day Fishing trips. Again this will be available for these FOUR types of trips starting next week.
