Tueday Afternoon Update May 1st 2012

Next Squid trip is planned for tomorrow night at 7pm. Call the office to make a reservation. Saturday Night’s Squid trip was once again hampered by dirty water and way more wind that what had been forecast. Friday is our first scheduled Fluke trip of the season and Capt. Mike will be ready to set sail at 7am. Word from the commercial rod and reel fleet is that they continue to pick away at mixed sizes on the fluke although the past weekend’s dirty water did subdue the bite a bit. Weather however is looking just fine Friday and the weekend thus far and we are anxiously waiting to get out after the warm weather flounders and begin a new season. Capt. Rich is anxious to get back out on the cod grounds as well with the next scheduled trips Friday and Saturday at 6am. Make sure to call the office to make a reservation and call the night before to double check on the sailing status of the trip.
