Capt. Mike reported the local fluke fishing proved to be about what was expected for this time of year especially considering the very slow drift conditions due to wind against tide. Nevertheless the first few handfuls of keepers came over the rails along with a fair amount of shorts. Nothing big with the best fish over 3lbs. Longtime regular customer Anthony from Providence was hi hook for the day with three fine keepers. His ticket to success was using spro jigs. Tomorrow is a new day and Capt. Mike looks forward to the beautiful weather forecast and hopefully some great fishing! The Lady Frances will set sail at 7am and the Capt. Tackle will be open promptly at 5am for check ins and ticket sales. A few pics showcasing angler hi lights from Today’s trip can be seen above this report courtesy of Capt. Mike.
Weather looks great for all three nights of Squid fishing this weekend so call to make a reservation if interested in going! There is plenty of room on tonight’s trip so if you did not make a reservation just come on down!
