Capt. Rich reported an okay day of fluke and sea bass fishing but an outstanding turnout of fluke and sea bass enthusiasts. Results as expected were certainly mixed around the boat but some good scores were made and some nice fish of both species hit the decks of the Gail Frances. Scott from Ansonia, a longtime regular customer and exceptional rod handler put five nice fluke and 9 sea bass in his cooler and called it good! Scott had twin 6lb fluke amongst his catch. Well done Scott! Deb Willet from Tolland took the pool today with fine slab over 8lbs to go along with an array of other nice fluke and sea bass that will make for some great meals to come. No word on what was hot or not hot in the rig department. Those details are not always available. Anyways it was an alright day of fishing and an outstanding day of weather. We look forward to more great fishing weather tomorrow with Capt. Rich ready to set sail at 7am.
