Capt. Rich reported another outstanding turnout of eager fluke and sea bass enthusiasts today. Plenty of drift for the anglers as well with a nice mix of fluke and sea bass. Results varied from angler to angler just like yesterday. Andy Nolan and his friend Jim teamed up for nearly a dozen nice sea bass while longtime regular customer Kenny took the pool with a fine 9lb fluke, one of four nice fluke he had for the day and took the hi hook honors. Capt. Rich looks forward to another great day of weather tomorrow and he will be ready to set sail on the Gail Frances at 7am.
Capt. Chris reported that the Arnold Ziesse full day fluke charter was very good today with a lot of nice fluke and plenty of good size sea bass. Still plenty of choice dates available for charters so if interested call the office and speak to Roger, Tammy or Cory regarding more specific booking details.
Capt. Mike reported the PM half day was good. A nice mix of fluke and good size sea bass. Connie had the pool fish with a 6.4lb slab that beat out two other fish over 6lbs. Biggest sea bass was just under 4lbs and Connie Tu was also hi hook with four nice keeper fluke. Well done Connie!! A few nice scup mixed in as well and plenty of short fluke kept the rods bent and anglers busily working rail side today. Next brace of half day trips is set for tomorrow with the first half day slated to leave at 8am and the second to set sail at 1pm.
