Capt. Matt was pleased to report that despite a very slow drift the local fluking was quite good. Anthony from Providence brought out his 8 yr old son who put on a spro clinic yesterday evening buck tailing 4 nice keepers and many shorts. An excellent number of fluke to 5lbs and a respectable number of big sea bass all in the 3-4lb range. Today we will have a half day at 8am and another at 4pm.
There will be no combo trip tonight or tomorrow night due to holiday weekend scheduling.
Last night’s Striper trip was reported as on the slower side although some nice fish were caught. More details to follow should they become readily available. Plenty of room on tonight’s run which sets sail at 7pm by reservation with Capt. Ray aboard the Lady Frances.
