Good Monday Morning!!
Capt. Cory reported that the 7am full day was not quite as red hot as we had all been getting accustomed to yesterday. There was pretty much zero drift all day long. There were a handful of anglers who were very experienced buck tailers and they did just fine racking up upwards to 4 to 7 nice keeper fluke apiece and getting upwards to and over a half dozen nice sea bass apiece however a good number of the keeper fish caught yesterday were spread out amongst a modest percentage of the anglers aboard. Sometimes when condtions are not ideal and the fish are picky that is just how things will pan out in party boat fishing. Nothing big yesterday either with the biggest fluke tippint the scales at just under 5lbs. Biggest sea bass around 3lbs. Today is a new day and Capt. Rich is out after the fluke and sea bass again so look for a new report later today. The 7am fluke and sea bass boat sails daily.
Capt. Don reported the half day trips were also plagued by lack of drift yesterday as well. The afternoon trip was slightly better but still no great shakes. On the afternoon trip we saw a slightly better take of keeper fluke and a few more sea bass. Hi hook did put five good size sea bass in his bucket on the PM half day.
