Capt. Rich reported a modest start but very strong finish to the 7am full day today. Nearly 200 combined fluke and sea bass keepers came over the rails. Pool fish was nearly 7lbs and fluke out numbered the sea bass today. A good number of quality sea bass in the three to five pound range. There were a half dozen anglers today who had six or more nice fluke apiece to take home. A couple blue fish and one scup to top off the fluke and sea bass catches. Whole squid was better early on today and then later when the fishing got really good all terminal gear was working. Today was less of a spro day although to be honest our real hardcore spro crowd was for the most part absent today. Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day of summer weather tomorrow and hopefully more great fishing with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
The report from the morning half day was of so so fishing with mostly some nice sea bass and not much fluke as there was once again little to no drift until the very end and by then it was time to go home. The 4pm half day is out now and that report will be available later this evening or tomorrow morning.
