Capt. Matt was pleased to report a very good evening half day of fluke fishing with some nice sea bass mixed in. A good number of the anglers aboard left with enough fillets for at least a couple of good dinners. Some shorties to provide some additional entertainment as well. From what I could tell it looked like there were at least a few “jo” category fluke in the catch with the best around 6lbs. By far our best half day of the past few days!! Way to go Capt. Matt! Two half days offered today, the first at 8am and the next at 4pm.
First mate Troy and Cote reported that Capt. Ray’s Striper trip last night met with good to very good results with a lot of nice bass to 20lbs hitting the deck of the Lady Frances with roughly half of the anglers aboard limited out. The Stripers were even hitting at slack water which is rather rare! A 6lb fluke also could not resist a fresh eel. Plenty of room on tonight’s Striper run with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7pm with Capt. Ray.
