The report from Capt. Chris of the Lady Frances was of some rock star fishing this Monday morning!! A pile of big sea bass to a mammoth 6 pounds and a pile of nice fluke to just underr 6lbs pleased the very light crowd of anglers aboard. A good number of the anglers aboard had several mixed fluke and sea bass apiece to take home!! That would be great on a full day nevermind a half day. Capt. Chris is going back out at 1pm today and hopes are high for more of the same.
Just to be clear and as a reminder we will be offering the 8am to 3pm full day boat this coming Thursday and Friday by reservation. While the boat has only been out a few times recently, both times featured fishing on par with the 7am full day. Reservations are a must, as like with all other trips, there are minimum fare requirements to go. This trip will be a combined focus on fluke and sea bass just a bit closer to home where recent forays into some broken bottom in deeper water have produced some excellent results.
We will try again to have a cod trip next Sunday. The trip is by reservation only and there is a 15 angler requirement for the trip to go. This means there needs to be 15 proper reservations by Saturday midday. Call the office for more details or if there are any questions regarding this policy.
