Capt. Rich reported a good day of fishing aboard the Gail Frances on the full day fluke and seabass trip. All tackle was successful in landing a good number of nice fluke and black seabass, as well as a few scup and bluefish. Seabass averaged 2-4 lbs, while a 7.5lb fluke won the pool. Capt. Matt was excited to report a truly fabulous 1-5pm half day fishing trip today aboard the Lady Frances: Fluke to 6 lbs were crushed in four short action-packed hours. Some nice sea bass made their way onto the ice as well. Anthony Mecurio and his son from Providence, RI had 9 keepers to 5 lbs. Hi-hook boasted 6 keeper fluke. (Photos courtesy of Roger)
Tomorrow, the full day fluke trip will be sailing at 7am, followed by half day trips departing at 8am, 1pm and 4pm. Don’t miss out on great fluke fishing!
