Captain Matt reported a much improved day of fishing on the 7-4 full day boat. Many limit fluke catches to around and other were very close. Long time regulars Dan Konkol and Eban York combined for 14 nice keepers and a few sea bass to make for a very good day. The largest fish of the day was over 8 pounds but was not in the pool. Another long time regular Bruce got yet another pool this week with a fine 6 pounds. Some scup and a few blue fish also topped off the day. Captain rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7am.
Captain Mike reported a solid day of local fishing despite the very windy conditions. Anglers were treated to both fluke and sea bass to over 4 pounds. Not as many shorts today but a nice mixed bag of quality fish. Whole squid seemed to do the trick for a few lucky anglers. The morning half day will set sail tomorrow morning at 8am.
