Well there was certainly no shortage of drift this morning on the Lady Frances and the fluke and sea bass responded nicely. Zach had the biggest with a fine fluke of at least 6lbs and there were a handful of anglers who had three or four keepers apiece. Bait rigs worked just fine both plain jane style and those with a bit more flash. The fish seemed to be quite spread out around the boat. A nice bunch of pics today appear courtesy of Roger. Looks like we will get a bit of a break in the weather this afternoon and we are looking forward now to the 4pm half day. Plenty of room so come on down!! Tomorrow we offer two half days with trips sailing at 8am and again at 4pm, weather looks ok as the bulk of the stormy weather is expected to pass through during the overnight hours.
Plenty of room on this weekend’s combo trip. The combo trip sails Friday and Saturday Night at 7pm by reservation. A great opportunity to sample what the beach has to offer after dark including Fluke, squid, sea bass and porgies and even some blue fish at times.
Due to lack of interest there will be no cod fishing this summer. Cod fishing will resume in mid to late September on a date to be announced early in September.
