Capt. Rich and Capt. Cory reported the 7am full day was respectable. A nice mix of fluke and a good amount of sea bass plus a pile of cocktail size blue fish and some big porgies pleased the anglers aboard. Hi hook had 7 keeper fluke although that angler by far was tops in the summer flounder department today. Po from NY had 9 sea bass for hi hook on the tasty northern relatives of the grouper family. A couple pics provided courtesy Capt. Cory. Capt. Rich looks forward to another pleasant day on the water tomorrow morning with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am.
First mate Troy reported Steve from Hillside Landscaping’s group had an awesome day out on the Capt. Frances with Capt. George on their private charter and enjoyed some good action with keeper fluke and a few big sea bass thrown in for good measure. Steve has been with us several years in a row and we would like to thank him kindly for his patronage. Still some choice dates available for private charter on the Capt. Frances so if interested call the office for more details.
No combo tonight due to lack of interest however there will be a combo tomorrow night so if interested please call the office to book. Through last weekend the squid fishing was holding up very well on the night combos along with a nice mix of summer fin fish. Plenty of room on tomorrow night’s Striper run as well so call to book or book online if interested in Bass fishing tomorrow night.
