Captain Rich reported a much improved day on the fluke grounds. A little more drift really helped with the fluke bite. Spro jigs were still the way to go. Anglers were treated to some limit catches of fluke and nice apple knocker seabass. Pool honors went yet again to Mr Pak with a solid 8 pounder. Some other “jo” fluke came over the rail as well. The fish were not as spread out as Rich would have liked but that’s fishing. Some jumbo sized scup made it in to the buckets as well. Another picture perfect weather day on the local fluke grounds. Captain Rich will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 7am.
Captain Mike reported 2 very good half day trips. Lots and lots of scup and sea bass came over the rail. There was alot of short fish around today to keep the rods bending all trip long. One child even said he caught 25 fish all by him self. There trips are a great for family’s that are looking to have there children bend the rods.
