Capt. Ray and first mate Chris reported another great day on the water with incredible weather and very good porgy fishing. Scup to 2lbs pleased anglers and some anglers easily limited out while others did a bit less. Some nice sea bass mixed in with several in the 3 to 4lb range hi lighting good numbers of keeper sea bass caught while drifting for the porgies. A number of anglers had a half dozen nice sea bass apiece to go along with their porgies. A couple of keeper fluke today as well but no blues or Stripers today unlike the past few days. Capt. Ray will be ready to set sail tomorrow morning at 7am aboard the Admiral Frances.
Also last night we had a Striped Bass charter that found some nice keeper bass and some platter size scup while fishing in close to BI drifting clam bellies. A bunch of short bass as well. Major credit to Capt. Matt for trying something a bit different here at the FF that paid big dividends. Way to go Capt. Matt!!
