Capt. Chris reported a great cod charter on the Capt. Frances today. The group from Northampton MA found a nice pick of nice green cod to 20lbs, a nice pile of good size sea bass to 4lbs and plenty of big scup to keep the rods bent and everyone busy at the rail. The fishing was so good that Capt. Chris came down and swung his rod for a little while and promptly iced five nice cod to the high teens for the group!! Well done Capt. Chris!! Capt. Chris was kind enough to take a few very nice pics today and I will try to get them up as soon as possible.
First mate Chris from the full day cod boat reported a mixed bag of cod to twelve pounds, nice size sea bass and a bunch of big porgies. Hi hook took home four nice cod today. No slaughter but a steady chip and a nice mixed bag of good eating bottom dwellers. There is no cod trip tomorrow due to the weather, stay tuned for updates regarding a possible trip Monday.
