Roger and Capt. Mike were both very pleased with the local tatoug fishing today aboard the Lady Frances. Considering the weather the past week and that the water still has not had a chance to completely purge itself of all the accrued sediment (thanks Sandy!), the fishing was quite good if not excellent! Except for the first stop, there was a solid pick of nice size tatoug and a good number of shorts on every rock pile sampled. There were several limit catches and the majority of the rest of the anglers aboard had three to five nice tog apiece to take home. Nothing huge but several nice chinners in the 7 to 8lb range to fight it out for the bragging rights. In fact there was even one double header keeper tog today!! Again we all just could not be more pleased with the results today on the local tog grounds and the weather looks great for the next three days and Capt. Mike will be set to sail on the Lady Frances at 6am Sunday through Election Day. A few pics are provided courtesy of Roger today showcasing a few angler hi lights.
Don’t forget FALL BACK tonight!! Also Capt. Rich will be set to sail for Cod tomorrow morning at 6am on the Gail Frances. The weather also looks great for Monday as well for the brown bombers. Fresh cod report to be filed by Roger tomorrow afternoon!
