Capt. Mike reported an excellent day with the tog today with about half the boat limited out and just about everyone going home with at least a couple for dinner. Nice size stuff again with the pool fish just a bit shy of ten pounds. Some shorts today to keep things interesting between all the keepers and there was even once nice cod to top things off. Weather looks just awesome the next three days at least with the Lady Frances set to sail each day at 6am with Capt. Mike.
Per management the office staff at the Frances Fleet does not field requests for reserving specific fishing spots on day trips(ie: stern corner spots, stern or bow etc). The number of these types of specific requests has been on the increase for quite some time now. On occasion the CREW will be informed to tie off a section of the boat on a day trip for a pre-reserved and pre-paid group reservation and the section of the boat being tied off will almost always be one side mid ship. We thank our customers in advance for not making these very specific requests to the office staff. Office staff, as always, can still assign rail positions for overnight trips (Tuna) when booking reservations with deposits over the phone.
Also a general reminder that day Cod and day Tatoug trips can be booked online for added customer convenience just please make sure to check in the office in the morning to exchange the online vouchers for boat tickets. The cashier will have a list in the office to check off the names of those individuals who are pre paid.
Capt. Rich will be set to sail for Cod on the Gail Frances over the next three days as well and the weather looks great. The Cod boat will be leaving at 6am Sat, Sun and Mon.
