Captain Don reported a very successful Noreast BlackTrip. A boat full of familiar faces were treated to very cold temperatures but very good fishing. . The trip ended up with nearly a full boat limit with lots of shorts to keep them busy. 5 cod also made it over the rail. I’m sure the members will have a full report for you soon…
Word from Captain Mike was that it was a very strong day of fishing. Lots of quality fish coming over the rail. The pool fish today was around 10 pounds. . We are scheduled to sail for black fish every day at 6am weather permitting.
Word from Captain Rich was a very good day of mixed bag fishing. rich fished close to home and was treated to good fishing and nice weather. Angler caught a mix of Cod, Seabass (all released), Scup, Hake, and Bluefish. Pool fish was a 12 pound cod caught by regular Norm. Norm also lost a fish that was closer to 20 pounds. Rich also said that the sea bass were piled 40 feet thick under the boat. About 2 dozen blue fish were also caught. The dogfish were not a problem at all.There will be no cod trip tomorrow Monday Nov 19th but we will try and sail on Wed. Nov 21st.
