Captain Mike reported a decent day of black fishing. Not a banner day but a chip all day long. Fisherman were treated to a nice pile of blackfish to 9 pounds and cod to 10 pounds. There were a few limits today and they were spread out all around the boat. Pool fish today was a 9 pound blackfish. More and more cod are starting to show up on the blackfish grounds. The boat is supplied with both green crabs and fresh clams to target both types of fish. As always bait is supplied free of charge. Captain Mike will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 6am.
There will be no COD boat tomorrow morning and the cod fishing is scheduled to resume on Friday.
The weather looks fishable for the rest of the week but we do ask everyone who is planning on coming down to please call the day before to double check the weather.
