Captain Mike was at the helm again today with a good size load of anglers. The warm temperature bought the people out from all over the northeast. Fishing to was a little slower then it has been but a good amount of blackfish were caught. HIgh hook was regular Mr. Koo with 9 keepers(orl). Others did manage there limit but some people had a very tough day. A good amount of shorts in the mix but it was a slower day over all. The weather was also strange with a midday rain shower. The pressure changed really shut down the bite for an hour or so. A few keeper cod, a small pollock, and even a trigger fish rounded out the day.
Neither the cod or the blackfish boat will be sailing tomorrow, Wednesday December 5th. The weather looks better for Thursday and Friday. We will have a full report of today’s trip a little bit later.
