Captain Mike report a decent day of blackfishing. A light crown of hearty anglers braved the morning cold for some late season blackfish. There was a few limit catches today with the biggest fish being around 9 pounds. Again today plenty of short fish to keep anglers busy. A handful of cod fish rounded out todays catch.
Captain Matt sailed with a skeleton crew and found some fantastic local fishing. High hook had 22 keepers(orl). Next high hook managed 15keepers(orl) He also had 7 keeper cod to 13 pounds.
The last day of the blackfish season is on Dec. 15th so there is not much time to capitalize of some great fishing.
Tomorrow morning we are scheduled to sail both the Cod boat and the Blackfish boat at 6am. The office will open at 5am for tackle and ticket sales.
