First mate Troy called in to say it was a decent of local cod fishing. The wind was no where close to what they were calling for and it was a rather warm day. The fishing was much slower in the morning as it has been. Captain Mike moved the boat spot to spot finding fish everywhere he went. The last spot really payed off with nearly 40 keepers coming over the rail. High hook honors went to Mr. Pak with 12 keepers and lots of shorts. Most other went home with 3-5 a piece. Pool fish was 10-12 pounds. Fish were taken on both jigs and fresh clams.
We will not be sailing tomorrow morning due to the weather. Friday-Sunday’s weather is great right now with light winds and temps in the 50s. Please call the office and book your spot for the upcoming weekend.
