First mate Chris L and Capt. Rich were pleased to report the fluke were snapping today and those who could tend bottom in the fast drift conditions did very well with several limit catches and several other anglers who were not far behind. Just about everyone went home with dinner nonetheless and a couple of cocktail blue fish mixed in for good measure. Small blue fish have been showing up more and more this past week. Bait rigs were the ticket once again today although all terminal gear was effective. A Tremendous amount of shorts mixing in as well keeping things moving right along. Nothing big today with the best of the lot around or just a tad over 4lbs. Pictures today are provided courtesy first mate Chris L. Capt. Rich looks forward to a new and hopefully somewhat drier day on the water tomorrow with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7am.may11thfluke
