First mate Chris reported a very good morning half day trip. A light crowd decided to come out and try for some fluke before the weather turned wet and nasty. 2 people managed to tie for high hook honors with 5 a piece. Biggest fish today was around 4 pounds. Bucktails were the way to go before the wind picked up, then the bait rigs took over.
We will not be sailing tomorrow on any of the trips due to gale force warnings.
We are scheduled to resume our full sailing schedule on Saturday morning.
Sea bass will also be opening this weekend. We have caught and released fish up to 6 pounds already and we are hoping for a great turn out.
