First mate Chris reported a great morning half day trip. A steady chip of keepers lasted for the whole trip. Some bigger fish showed up today with 4 fish being around 5 pounds. Not as many shorts today but most fish that made it to the boat were keepers. One angler who has fish for the last 3 Mondays has manged to catch a 5 pounder every trip.More and more seabass starting to show up with the largest being around 3 pounds.
Both half day trips are scheduled to set sail tomorrow at the normal 8am and 1pm times. There is a discount of 15 dollars off if you fish both half days.
Captain Rich report a good day on the 7-4 full day boat. Anglers were treated to nice full coolers of fluke and sea bass. Nearly a full boat limit of sea bass to 5 pounds. Most anglers left with a decent bag of fluke with a few managing to take home a limit.Pool honors went to Tony Pak who caught a 28.5 in fluke. Captain Rich also reported some larger fish today with nearly a dozen fish 5 pounds and up. Spro jigs did most of the damage when the drift was slower but when it went over a knot the long bait rigs became king. A few blues and a scup or two rounded out todays catch.
