Captain Mike reported an over all decent day on the full day fluke boat. Fluke fishing was a little slower but the Sea bass were on a all out feeding frenzy. Yet another 10 pound fluke made it in to the nets day caught by Jim O’Grady. Not as many fluke as Mike was hoping for but the fish that were caught were on the large size. A full boat limit of seabass was taken today with the biggest being around 5 pounds. One angler came in to the office to say that his group of 3 caught and released over 60 sea bass. Captain Rich is at the helm tomorrow and the boat will be setting sail at 7am
Captain Matt reported a OK morning half day trip. Lack of wind and a weak tide made for slow drift conditions. High hook managed to catch 3 fine keepers on spro jigs. Spro jigs seemed to be the way to go this morning with no drift. Biggest fish was around 5 pounds. The short fluke kept people very busy this morning with some anglers catching 10 a piece A handful of sea bass rounded out today catch.Both half day trips are scheduled to set sail tomorrow at 8 and 1pm.
