Sunday Morning Update June 23rd 2013, Much Improved Striper Fishing Last Night!!

First mate Troy reported that the local Striper fishing was much improved over the last two weeks worth of fishing. It was not a grand slam for sure but we are really pleased with dramatic upturn. Sizes were better as well. Troy reported the big fish of the night in the upper 20’s with another one not far behind in the mid 20’s and the rest all nice teen size keepers. A fine 7lb fluke found a fresh eel impossible to resist as did a few small blue fish. Next Striper trip is slated for next Saturday Night at 7pm by reservation. Keep in mind that during July starting the 5th we expand our Night Bass trips to a Wednesday through Saturday Night sailing schedule at 7pm by reservation.
