Captain Rich reported a decent day on the fluke boat. Some did much better then others but over all it was a decent day. High hook honors were tied from Mike from Providence and Chris l who each had 10 keepers. Mike also had the pool today with a fine 7 pound fish. Most other anglers went home with 3-4fish each. Captain Rich did say that he noticed less bait in the water then the past 2 days. A few monster blues rounded out today’s catch. The smaller fluke seemed to be less hungry then in the past few days. Tomorrow is another day. Captain Rich will be sailing tomorrow morning at 7am.
Captain Mike was at the helm of today’s half day trips and reported steady action all day. The morning’s trip was a little on the wet side, but the fish don’t care they are already wet. High hook managed a few keepers with the biggest fish being around 4 pounds. The afternoon’s half day trip saw very similar results. The half day trips are great for family’s. it is normally a good trip to bend the rod on some fluke. Captain Mike will be at the helm again tomorrow for both half day trips.
