Captain Rich reported another good day of fluke fishing on the full day boat. A good number of angler turned out to get the rods bent. Fishing had its ups and downs but at the end of the day it all ended well.Fluke limit catches all around the boat with everyone leaving with fish. Pool fish today was around 6 pounds. A few blue fish could not pass up some fancy spro jigs as well. Some dogfish couldnt pass up the fancy rigs as well. Captain Rich will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 7am for fluke. Where Rich has been fishing has had quite a bit of tide. Anglers should be prepared to fish from 6-16oz of lead.
Captain Mike was at the helm of the half day trips today and reported good fishing. This mornings trip was on the windy side which made for very fast drift conditions. Quite a few good sized sea bass and fluke to 4 pounds came over the rails this morning. The Afternoon trips had less wind which slowed the drift up. More fluke in the afternoon then this morning. We do offer 15$ off for doing back to back half day trips in the same day.
Our night combo trips are being put on hold for the next few weeks. We are hoping that some form of squid moves in thicker and makes for a good night trip.
