Captain Matt reported a decent day on the full day fluke boat.Strong tides did hurt the fishing some but over all was a good day. Many people went home with 5 keepers each, with everyone leaving with fish. Biggest fish today was not in the pool but was a solid 8 pound fish. The pool Fish went to Mike from ct with a fine 7pound slab. Matt also reported many fish in the 5 pound range. The shorts kept the rods bending all day long. Was a solid fluke trip with no other sea life biting the hooks. Captain Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7am on the Gail Frances.
First mate Cote reported yet another good morning half day trip. Yet again the weatherman seemed to scare would be customers. Fishing on the beach has been solid for the past 2 weeks. High hook on the morning trip had 4 keepers with many people having 2-3 each. Pool fish was around 4 pounds. Again the short fluke were out in numbers with some anglers catching upwards of 10 each. The afternoons half days saw some of the same results. 8 year old Marena DeMonti would have had to pool with her fine 24″ 5 pound fluke. We will be sailing tomorrow on both half day trips at 8am and again at 1pm. There is a 15$ discount for anyone who would like to fish backto back half day trips.
