Captain Rich reported a good mixed bag of fishing on the full day fluke and sea bass boat. Anglers caught a mix of fluke, sea bass, scup, striped bass and blue fish all on squid and spearing. High hook on the fluke went home with 5 fine slab of fluke. Many sea bass limits all around the boat with some anglers catching over 15 sea bass. Pool fish on the fluke was between 7 and 8 pound. There were many sea bass in the 3-5lb range. All forms of tackle seemed to work today. When Captain Rich goes looking for sea bass it is suggested that angler switch up the tackle and shy away from the bucktails. Sea bass love them but so does the bottom. Captain Matt will be setting sail tomorrow morning at 7am on the Gail Frances.
Captain Mike reported a decent morning half day trip. Wind against tide made for some tough fluking conditions. High hook on the mornings trip went home with 4 fine fluke to 5 pounds. Some nice sea bass and scup in the mix as well. The action from the smaller fish has been great with rods bending all around the boat. The tides in the afternoon were much more favorable to fluke in. High hook this afternoon box 5 fine keepers. Some larger sea bass in the mix with a fine 4.5lb pictured below.Captain Mike will be at the helm on both half day trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm. There is a 15$ discount if you fish back to back trips.
